Tutorials made easier with Class group sync
Class group sync is now available in all iLearn units. The feature automatically syncs class groups (e.g. tutorial classes) created in AMIS, with iLearn. If a student changes their tutorial group in eStudent, tutorial groups created in iLearn will automatically update. No more waiting until week 4 to create groups or moving students around manually!

This feature is set up in iTeach. You may have noticed it as one of the steps when activating your 2018 iLearn space.
Reduce clicks while editing with the Mass Actions block
Adding the Mass Action Block
By adding the the Mass Actions block, you can perform multiple actions on resources and activities in one go. For example, you can duplicate, move, delete or hide everything in a whole section at once, rather than one by one.
To activate the block, Turn editing on [Symbol] Add a block [Symbol] Select Mass Actions. Use the drop-down menu to select a section, or checkboxes next to individual activities. This block is only visible to staff and not students.
iLearn innovations in the works
The Learning Innovation Hub (LIH) is piloting some new tools to improve the iLearn learning and teaching experience.
Make your iLearn unit more engaging and interactive with the H5P interactive content publishing tool
H5P allows you to create interactive videos, presentations, quizzes and other creative activities in iLearn. H5P activities lend themselves to producing engaging formative learning activities, and some activities can be graded.

Personalise messages to students from iLearn with Personalised Learning Designer (PLD)
With PLD, educators can set up automated messages to students. By creating an ‘event rule’ based on an activity inside your course, a message or alert is automatically triggered to students. Students who may be identified as at-risk (by a grade or by inactivity) can, for example, be sent study resources or links to where they can go for further help. You can also use PLD in a number of other creative ways to set up personalised learning pathways for students.
